Change tracking / History

Does OCSI keep a history of a machines configuration so that, for example, we can see when a computers configuration has changed?  eg software installed, memory removed etc?
Spiceworks has a feature that does this and lists recent changes for techs to investigate but only appears to be able to do scheduled scans which misses all our laptops which are only on intermittently which is one of the reasons I've chosen OCSI.

Re: Change tracking / History

It seems there is no such capability, but I also want to see it in next releases. I didn't fing it in plans (roadmap), hope somebody from project will see this thread and add it in roadmap.

Re: Change tracking / History

Is there any update on this feature?

The Sourceforge site gives me an error when I visit it and try and check its status.

This is a pretty important feature and I hope its in the next version.

Re: Change tracking / History

Maybe the link is in error now because of the launchpad migration
So the roadmap is not up to date.
You can reopen the case with a blueprints on the launchpad ocs inventory project
