OCS Inventory NG Forums

Hi,

I  use OCSNG _LINUX_SERVER on SuSE.
After registering Windows client into the OCS inventory by WIN32_AGENT,
Japanese characters get garbled in the field of Windows user and Comments.

It shows like below in UTF-8 char-set:
Comments: KIC’† ¬Šé‹Æ f’fŽmŽ––± Š
Windows user: ‹ÚàV @–Î

I changed char-set  in other Japanese code like SJIS(Shift_JIS), ISO-2022-JP on the browser but any char-set does not fit (Unknown char-set <-).

In other characters, for example in a software list, they can be displayed in SJIS  but not conforms to the default char-set (UTF-8, I guess).

Please help or give me a hint.
